Grammar in Written Discourse-B24A

Grammar in written discourse refers to the system of rules and structures that organize language so ideas can be expressed clearly, logically, and coherently in text. It includes the use of correct sentence forms, verb tenses, agreement, punctuation, and cohesive devices such as connectors and reference words, all of which help writers convey meaning accurately and guide readers smoothly through the flow of information. Effective grammar in writing not only ensures clarity but also supports the writer’s purpose, whether explaining, describing, arguing, or narrating, by shaping how messages are interpreted and understood.
